THIS COURSE COVERS BASIC COVID-19 PRACTICES/Infectious Viruses/Diseases. 

This course is intended for employees whose job functions may expose them to blood, bodily fluids or OPIM (other potentially infectious materials) as a direct result of performing their normal job duties. According to OSHA Regulation 29 CF 1910.1030, the BloodBorne Pathogens standard protects workers against the potential health hazards from exposure of blood and other potentially infectious materials.

This course will include but is not limited to the following topics:

  • Symptoms of exposures
  • Preventing exposures
  • Control measures
  • Personal Protective Equipment
  • Labeling and Disposal Issues
  • BASIC COVID-19 PRACTICES/Infectious Viruses/Diseases
